😀 Who? YOU! Although we love kids, we cannot accommodate them for our wedding. We hope you understand. Dogs are not allowed on the property.
👗 Dress code? Cocktail attire for the Wedding evening, casual otherwise. Note that the Ceremony will be on grass, so stilettos are not recommended.
👙 Swimsuits in Alaska? Bring yours, there's a hot tub for use on Sunday evening, maybe even after the Saturday Reception!
🌞 Weather Forecast: Plan for all seasons, especially if you're coming from a warm location!
Friday, June 7
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM: REHEARSAL DINNER (family only) 📍Main Lodge
Family members and guests involved in the wedding have been invited to the rehearsal dinner.
7:30 PM: LODGE GUEST CHECK-IN 📍Main Lodge: Bar
If you're staying at the Lodge, either in a room, RV, or tent, please come to the Bar at the Lodge to check-in. Note that the Rehearsal Dinner with just be wrapping up at that time.
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM: WELCOME DRINKS (everyone) 📍Main Lodge
Kick off our special weekend by joining us and the rest of our closest family and friends for Friday night drinks and snacks at the Lodge! We can't wait to see you there.
Saturday, June 8
8 -10 AM: BREAKFAST 📍 Main Lodge
12 PM - 1 PM: MAKE-YOUR-OWN LUNCH 📍 Lodge Deck
2 PM: FIRST LOOK📍 Lodge / Lawn
2:45 PM: FAMILY PHOTOS📍 Lawn
3:30 PM - 4 PM: GUESTS START ARRIVING 📍Lawn
Please make your way to the Lawn when you arrive (not inside the Lodge), so we can start the Ceremony on time.
4 PM - 4:30 PM: THE CEREMONY📍Lawn
We will say our vows on the Lodge lawn, amongst the mountains. Monica Makins (Melanie's best friend) will be officiating. Ladies, we recommend flat shoes or block heels to avoid sinking into the grass.
Right after the Ceremony, we will take a group photo on the gravel, from the Lodge.
4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: COCKTAIL HOUR📍Area between Lawn and Lodge
Right after the Ceremony, we will move to the gravel area and take a group photo from the Lodge. Then we will have appetizers and cocktails before the Reception begins, including the Bride and Groom.
5:30 PM - 11 PM: THE RECEPTION 📍Main Lodge
A family-style dinner will be served inside the main Lodge to celebrate with you. Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP. Following dinner, we will celebrate to the lively sounds of DJ Carlos Pereira, and assuredly burn holes in the dance floor.
11 PM ONWARD: AFTER PARTY 📍Lawn
We'll close the night out with a late bonfire and snacks. You're welcome to change into casual clothes!
Sunday, June 9
8 AM - 11 AM: MORNING-AFTER BRUNCH 📍Main Lodge
We hope you'll stay an extra night, but please don't leave without saying goodbye! After brunch, we'll go on a hike near the Lodge, play yard games, then have dinner and relax.
12 PM - 1 PM: MAKE-YOUR-OWN LUNCH 📍 Lodge Deck
6 PM: DINNER 📍Main Lodge
Join us for Thai food at the Lodge, followed by a dip in the hot tub.
